A native of South Carolina, Somers founded her full-service interior design firm with one goal and philosophy: “keep(ing) it simple.”
Somers works closely with her clients to create edited, classic, inspiring settings. She creates and tailors each space with care, incorporating her clients’ stylistic preferences and practical concerns. Somers loves building the foundations of her designs with The Ellenburg Chair Company’s upholstery, which are not only made in the USA but also are of the finest long-lasting quality, style, and attention to detail. From traditional to eclectic to contemporary, Somers designs livable spaces that beckon her clients in to experience and enjoy.
Somers holds both a Master of Industrial Design degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from The University of Georgia. As a resident of Atlanta since 2008, she has gained experience locally in both residential interior design and antique fine furnishings.
Shown in this room design is the Amberly sofa in leather with a bench seat. The 2 swivel Somers chairs sit in front of the fireplace and directly across the room are 2 Tracye chairs, all in custom fabric designed by Somers Zaychik.
